CBT in Forensic Settings

Aims

• To ensure the provision of a variety of training events aimed at developing people's understanding of how to apply CBT ethically and safely within a forensic setting 
• To encourage an ethos of discussion, support and sharing of ideas to build confidence and promote the development of CBT within this field 
• Ensure the provision of a wide range of events covering the spectrum of theory, research, clinical techniques and best practice to support therapists working with patients in a forensic setting and developing an understanding of what works with this client group in relation to their complex needs
• Build an evidence base using CBT  with patients in a forensic setting
